Our Rec League exists so that kids from all over our region have the opportunity to play the beautiful game in a fun, educational, and positive environment. SSA relies on volunteer coaches to help make Rec League possible for our kids. The more coaches we have, the more teams we can form, which both shrinks team sizes and allows for more overall playing time for the players.

We are dedicated to providing our coaches with resources that enable them to teach the fundamentals of soccer and coach training prior to and during each Rec League season.

With over 640 players, we are one of the largest recreational soccer leagues in Idaho. With that large number of players, we are always recruiting referees aged 12 and up, who if certified, can be paid for refereeing Rec League games on Saturday. 

Beginning in Fall 2024, Rec League will use Size 4 ball until U11 and a size 5 ball for U12 and up.
