Sandpoint Soccer Association Programs 

We have programs for all ages, interests and abilities. Whether you are looking for a new hobby or your goal is to play college soccer some day, SSA has options for everyone.  

Kick Start is soccer skills program for children ages 2-4 and their caregiver. Kickstart uses a "Mommy/Daddy & Me" format and caregivers will be on the field with their players. 

Note: 4 year old children have the option to enroll in either Rec league or Kick Start.

The Sandpoint Rec League is dedicated to providing quality recreational youth soccer that facilitates personal and athletic development for all skill levels in a safe, positive, and supportive environment.

Rec league is intended to help players develop soccer skills in a fun atmosphere. In addition to teaching soccer skills, the program seeks to develop character, sportsmanship, and discipline in it's players.

Player development and equal participation take precedence over winning, even during the Tournament. Players enjoy soccer the most when they are allowed to play without constant coaching from the sidelines. Coaches, parents, and program officials share responsibility for creating the best possible environment for players.

The Strikers FC is a competitive club soccer program that offers young players the opportunity to play against top-level players in the region. 

Our coaches provide a high level of training, and Sandpoint Strikers teams are recognized throughout the area for their sportsmanship and level of play. 

Players U8 through U19 are eligible to try out. 

Sandpoint Strikers FC is proudly affiliated with the Idaho Youth Soccer Association, US Youth Soccer Association, and US Soccer Federation.
